Where do visitors to this blog come from?

It’s quite interesting to see where visitors come from:

Num Perc. Country Name

drill down 123 28.02% South Africa South Africa
drill down 30 6.83% United Kingdom United Kingdom

On a previous occasion there was a surprisingly high proportion of visitors from Muslim countries. This time what is surprising is the relatively high proportion from a small country like Mauritius.

What is also interesting is that this blog (Khanya) gets a much higher proportion of visitors from South Africa than my other blog, Notes from underground. Here are the top five from there for comparison:

Num Perc. Country Name
drill down 209 48.38% United States United States
drill down 65 15.05% South Africa South Africa
drill down 37 8.56% United Kingdom United Kingdom
drill down 14 3.24% Canada Canada
drill down 14 3.24% Australia Australia

More from the USA, and fewer from South Africa.

I’m also trying to see if the updated WordPress handles such graphics better than the old one did. It seems to.

Thanks to StatCounter for the statistics.
