Sour grapes

31 March 2007

Depleted Uranium seems to have had a bad case of sour grapes because South Africa didn’t wholeheartedly support Britain at the UN in the captured sailors affair and urges Brits not to travel to or invest in this “once great nation“.

The problem is that the government of that once-great nation Britain has lied to us so many times about what was happening in the Balkans and the Middle East that everthing they say needs to be taken with several sacks of salt.

For this particular story, there are reasons for scepticism. Remember what they told us about the WMD in Iraq? We know, however, that there are WMD in Britain, andTony Blair wants more. Is that a pretext for South Africa, Russia and Indonesia to invade Britain to effect regime change?
